If seats remain unfilled by students of one stream then it must be filled by students of other streams.
All the rules for Boy's Hostel apply to Women's Hostel in addition to the rules mentioned below.

Special Rules for Women's Hostel

  1. No boarder of the womens' hostel is allowed to leave the hostel after 6 P.M. But in exceptional cases the boarder is permitted to go out side with their parents or recognised guardian with the permission of the Superintendent.
  2. The boarder is permitted to meet her parents or recognised guardians from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. This rule should be strictly adhered to.
  3. The boarders may leave hostel on holidays and may go home obtaining the prior permission of the Superintendent. They have to submit an application which is duly signed by their parents or recognised guardians for temporary absence from the hostel.
  4. The period of study is as follows.
    1. 6.30 A.M. to 9 A.M.
    2. 6.30 P.M. to 9 P.M.
  5. Considering the growing demand of students, Principal reserves the right to increase the number of seats, if situation so warrants.
  6. Those suffering from incurable / contagious/ chronic diseases are not allowed to take admission in the hostel.

Mobile

Boarders of the college hostel  are not allowed to keep Mobile Phones with them.

Ragging

Ragging of any kind in any form is strictly forbidden and is  a criminal offence. Any student found involved in such activities is liable for severe punishment and expulsion from the institution.

Library

The College Library has been named Dinabandhu Sahu Memorial Library, after, the founder President of this college Late Dinabandhu Sahu.

There are nearly 60,784 books and 1205 reference books in the library on different subjects. There is a lending library (Book Bank with 10,000 books) which lends text books to the students.

The special feature of the college library is the Indian Culture Section where books are kept on all religions and cultures.... More
